MEC & COHN & WOLFE
MEC North America and Cohn & Wolfe are two separate subsidiary companies of WPP Group USA, Inc. The two companies were collocating together in a 23,000 SF office space but each had their own network requirements. This proposed an interesting project configuration.
To address the program, PLANNET assigned an IT Relocation Project Manager to serve as the single-point-of-contact to manage and coordinate all aspects of the technology systems and infrastructure that were integrated into the new facility for both firms. This coordination allowed for seamless assimilation into the new high-tech space.
PLANNET also provided the program, design and implementation oversight for the distributed antenna system (DAS), the information transport systems (data/telecommunications) and technology rooms; the audio visual systems and infrastructure; and the security systems and infrastructure.
